- Understanding the importance of starting with a top-down approach is key to improving short-term trading performance. Analyse and interpret the daily bilateral continuous auction through the lens of the Market Profile. Refine your intuition, which is indispensable for experienced traders at expert level.
- Gain a full understanding and use cognitive dissonance to your advantage. Use repetition with your own progression in mind, much like hitting a tennis ball, where each stroke is unique, as is each market situation you encounter.
- Understanding the difference between developed and entrenched industries becomes key. Learn to recognise anomalies and understand their essence. Pay attention to speed as this is an important element for advanced traders. Look at the signs of markets becoming too long or too short.
- Gain an understanding of opportunities and, equally important, learn to think in terms of opportunities. Understand the importance of knowing what is not in the market. Monitor trades for continuation, and let the trade come to you on its own, rather than actively seeking it out.
